Welcome to the Jazz Composers Forum

      Our purpose is to present and  document original  instrumental music in an intimate listening room environment. We intend to present local, regional, national and international composers at a reasonable price.  Our format usually consists of two 45 minute sets containing music from at least two different composers. We have a short Q & A and an intermission between sets . Our Body of Composers in Residence write music regularly  to support our presentations and will accompany visiting composers by request. We also teach master classes , hold workshops , present educational classrooms and concerts for Primary to University level students in the community . We are available to travel in order to fulfill this purpose.

      The Jazz Composers Forum non-profit organization is a member of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce, the North Carolina Presenters Consortium the International Association of Jazz Educators and Chamber Music America.
